I am not a big fan of water, so by putting fruit (which I love) in my ice cubes it makes it a little less boring! Super easy, super cute and super refreshing for those summer days by the pool!
Size is key with this DIY because small ice cube trays do not fit enough fruit. I found this huge ice cube tray at TjMaxx for $2.99 (I’m pretty sure no one knew what it was because it had no label.)
Fill the tray with fruit that you love! I used strawberries, lemons and blueberries and they were so refreshing. Next I am going to try cucumber and mint, the options are limitless!
Fill the tray with water. I had heard that you have to boil the water first in order for the cubes to be clear, not cloudy, but mine seem to look the same. (So save yourself the hassle and avoid boiling the water!)
Put in the freezer and wait- my least favorite part.
After just a few hours the cubes will be frozen and delicious! Add them to your favorite drink and take a seat by the pool.
